Heyyy, Foodie-Besties! 👋🏾 I’m Shante’—home-cook and food enthusiast born and raised in the DMV (D.C./Maryland/Virginia area), where my love for bold flavors and cultural fusion began. For over a decade, I called Brooklyn home—a place that deepened my obsession with global cuisines and introduced me to the vibrant tapestry of African diaspora cooking. Now, I’m back in the DMV (for a little while!) embracing a new chapter: motherhood, while keeping the kitchen fires burning.
