Ingredients
1/2cupunsalted butter melted1 stick ( I prefer european butter for this recipe)
3/4cupbrown sugar packed
1/2cupgranulated sugar
1large egg
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1 1/3cupall-purpose flour 166 gram
1/2teaspoonbaking soda
Pinchof salt
1cupchopped semi-sweet chocolateor any chocolate of your choice
* Flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions
Cream butter and sugars until light/fluffy (2-3 mins). Add egg and vanilla.
Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined and there are no more dry spots. Do not over mix.
Fold in chocolate (chips + chopped bars). Chill dough 1 hour or overnight.
Bake at 350°F for 10 mins. Cookies should look puffy. Lift the pan on one side about 3 or 4 inches and drop against the oven rack to flatten the cookies. Return to oven for 2 mins or until the edges are brown. Remove from the oven & bang pan again on counter.
